Cookie policy

The public site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Here is everything it does keep in your browser, and how to clear it.

01In short

Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of information a website keeps on your device. Acquire Aero uses a handful of them, all to make the site work the way you’d expect, and none to track you across other sites or show you advertising.

None of the items in the next section is sent to us while you browse. They leave your browser only if you choose to send an enquiry.

02What the site keeps in your browser

  • Your last search (acquire-aero:brief). The trip, passengers and budget you chose in the search or filters, kept in your browser’s local storage so the enquiry form can start from them. It stays until you clear it, and the site ignores it once it is 30 days old.
  • Your compare list (acquire-aero:compare). The models you’ve added to compare, kept in local storage so the list follows you from page to page. It stays until you remove the models or clear it.
  • Your place in the results (acquire-aero:results). The order of the aircraft you were browsing, kept for the current tab only (session storage) so the previous and next buttons on an aircraft page follow your list.
  • How you found us (acquire-aero:source). The page you first arrived on, the website that linked you to us and any campaign tags in that link, kept for the current tab only. It is sent to us only if you send an enquiry, with that enquiry (see our privacy policy).

The enquiry form also reads your browser’s language setting to suggest your country. That stays in your browser and is not stored.

03Services that may use their own

  • Cloudflare Turnstile runs a check on the last step of the enquiry form to tell people from automated spam. Cloudflare may use its own cookies or storage for that check; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
  • Sanity delivers the articles and images on our blog. Reading the blog connects your browser to Sanity’s servers; we don’t ask it to set cookies on your device.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, does not set cookies on the public site.

04Cookies for our team only

Our team signs in to a separate admin area, and editors preview blog articles before they’re published. Those use cookies to keep the sign-in or preview working. They’re set only for people who sign in or preview, never for visitors to the public site.

05Analytics

We don’t use any analytics or tracking tools today. If we add one, we’ll list it here before it goes live and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

06How to clear or block them

You can clear everything above at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this site (often called “cookies and site data” in your browser’s settings or privacy menu). Session items clear themselves when you close the tab. You can also block site storage entirely; the site will still work, but your compare list and last search won’t be remembered.

07Questions

If you have a question about this policy, send us a message through the enquiry form and mention it in the note.
